Savvy Media became Savvy City AUSTIN during SXSW music festival in 2012. We distributed custom tote bags filled with curated sponsored goodies to every room in the chicest hotel in Austin, The W. These bags included lip balm from Yes To Carrots, promotional cards from Discoverpique, MeUndies apparel, Myster High End grinders, Nooka watches, Eat Whatever gum packs, Electric Picks Jewelry, an assortment of either Neuro Drinks, Honest Tea or ZICO Coconut Waters, Kind Snacks & Perky Jerky, .CO Sunglasses, Hickies Shoelaces, and Party Invites throughout the week. The first Friday of each SXSW week, totes were delivered to each room at the W Hotel, getting premier access to guests otherwise unreachable -- in their personal space. Not only were all these intimate variables playing in our favor with Savvy's exclusive distribution partnership with the W Hotel, it extended even further with the distribution of online and social influence by partnering with Stylecaster who looped in The Man Repeller, this generations biggest fashion blogger. Between product placement, leveraging our Savvy clientele relationships and creating a digital marketing initiative, Savvy Media was able to create targeted exposure for numerous brands at one of the biggest festivals in the world.
Savvy Media launched the German chain Vapiano in New York City with a smash in 2010, incorporating the after party for Katie Holmes' movie Extra Man, and drawing a slew of celebrities and press to bolster and promote the opening.
